Don't let the off-season slow you down! There are so many wonderful programs out there do help increase skills, stay in shape and prepare for next season.

Below you will find a variety of programs for all ages.

We'll also be updating this list with some programs that will be held at our home rink once the season is over!

Skill Development

Dekes Hockey Camp

Dekes Hockey Camp runs Sunday evenings from April-August at Proctor Arena. Camp is open to boys and girls from Learn to Skate to High School. We have a great coaching staff of HS, Junior, College and Professional players. Take your Game to the Next Level!

Northland Hockey Development Academy (NHDA)

Northland Hockey Development Academy is a hockey services company run by professional educators (current professional players) offering camps, clinics, personalized private lessons, and video analysis to kids in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin.

ON ICE ACVTIVITIES: 

Foundational Cone Instruction, Hockey IQ Teaching, Intrinsic and Extrinsic Individual Development, Ride the Glide, Edge Work, Mini Games/Scrimmage, Foundational Skill Work, and More.


OFF ICE ACTIVITIES:

Plyometric, Activation, Shooting, Techniques/Stickhandling, Watching Film, Comprehension of Systematic Structured Game Play, New Concepts of Dynamic Warmups, Soft tissue Work, Recovery/Nutrition talks, Mental Health Awareness/Training, and Teambuilding Games.

GRIT Hockey Club

The Objective of the GRIT Hockey Club is to help educate families and young players on the process of development from youth to college hockey, and to provide a training vehicle for those whose goal is to play at the college level one day. Our programs are concentrated around individual skill development and are structured as 8-week progressive training models.

We are currently entering our 9th summer of training and now have training locations in West Bend, WI and Duluth, MN.

Bar Down 3v3 Tournament

Fast paced 3v3 (1/2) ice tournament held in the fall (before the season starts). Mite/Squirt/Peewee/U8/U10 levels, open and upper. Held in Cloquet.

Minnesota Hockey Spring HP Programs

The CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance programs are designed to identify and develop the best players ages 14-18 in Minnesota and to provide the top players from each district or section a chance to play with and against the best players in their area and the state.

The CCM High Performance Spring programs, formerly Advanced, are conducted in conjunction with USA Hockey and are referred to as “Select” programs in other parts of the country. These programs provide players the opportunity to advance to national festivals/camps which are used by USA Hockey to identify the top performers in each age group for possible opportunities to represent the U.S.A. at advanced levels of national and international hockey competition. Spring HP tryouts begin in March.

Minnesota Hockey Fall Tier I and Fall Prospects Leagues

The CCM High Performance Tier I and Prospects Leagues offer players with a fall development league, featuring an emphasis on local training and a minimum of 15 games against the top competition in Minnesota and across the country. Teams also have the opportunity to compete for a chance to represent Minnesota at USA Hockey's Tier I and Tier II National Championships.
